Painting, finishing and restoration

When the plumber or electrician leaves, an open wall is left behind. We close it, fill, sand, paint and re-tile until the room looks as though nothing happened.

This is the strongest reason to call us. When a licensed master plumber has replaced a pipe the technical problem is solved — but the wall is open, broken tiles are on the floor and nobody owns what is left.

For us, finishing is not an afterthought somebody has to find a contractor for. It is our trade. We close the opening, fill, sand, paint, re-tile and hand the room back finished.

It is also why we come into the job at the very beginning. The same company that inspected the damage, documented it and knows the building is the one that closes it out.

Painting and touching up is the final step once the repair is done.

What happens during the visit

  2. We wait until the substrate is dry enough before closing up — and say so if it is not there yet.
  3. We close the opening, fill and sand until the surface is even.
  4. We paint or tile, matching the existing surface as closely as we can.
  5. We clean the room and take final photographs.

What you receive

  • Final photographs showing the area completed.
  • A summary of the finishing work carried out, to go with an invoice or into the minutes.
